Individual Aid
Are you or your family on low income and feel we may be able to help by way of a one off grant? To apply for a grant you will need to have a sponsor, preferably someone in an organisation who is familiar with your personal circumstances like a social worker, health visitor, housing officer, warden. If you cannot think of a sponsor please contact us direct and we will help you.
Project Aid
Are you an organisation that needs a grant? Any project relating to the relief of poverty will be considered for a grant as long as it is based in Hatfield and the majority of its users are on low income or benefits. Please ensure you get your application in to the Trust on plenty of time before your project start date. We would suggest at least two months in advance. Trustees may wish to visit a project before making a decision.
Scooter Loan Scheme
Our Scooter Loan Scheme has been operating since 1997 and our motorised scooters have increased to 15. The scooters are on long term loan to residents of Hatfield who would otherwise be virtually housebound for as long as is needed. They are serviced once a year by our supplier and are fully insured. All costs being met by the Trust.
Wellfield Room
The Wellfield Room is located within Birchwood Leisure Centre in Longmead, Hatfield and can seat up to 30 people comfortably. It has ample free parking and is located within easy reach of the M1 and M25. Suitable for a variety of uses, we already accommodate a number of special-interest groups and organisations.
